Hello I’m Nancy Alexander I found my passion and talent designing wreaths over 20 years ago. I purchased and owned an upscale silk floral and design business for 16 years.  During that time, my business expanded into multiple locations with as many as eight employees at once. It became a full time job just managing the store and the employees. This took me away from what I really love to do — Create Wreaths. I’m passionate about my wreath making and held many night classes in my shop after hours.  It was during these night classes that I began to develope many tips and techniques which helped my customers learn and remember the steps involved in wreath making as well as many other types of floral design. Eventually, after many downsizings due to health reasons,  I sold my stores and moved my business into our home studio. When we built our home, my husband insisted that I have a very niced size shop across the breezeway from our home.  Well, I immediately filled this shop with wreaths, stems of flowers of all types, sizes, and colors, and learned to sell wreaths on eBay and the Internet.  I now have four employees, and am educating others in the art of floral and wreath design.  I am so very happy, and having so much fun.  I wish I had taken this step many, many years ago. I get a lot of personal satisfaction from customers who write telling me about the wreaths and bows they have made using my ebooks and videos.  There are so many of these customers now who have become friends!  They can’t wait to email me with pictures of their newest creations!   It really thrills me to know that I am making an impact on the lives of others by not only teaching them a hobby, but by living a dream just as I am.

Making Using These Techniques

I recommend that you watch your video all of the way through before purchasing your supplies. Try to buy stems that are the approximate size of the ones I am using. You want to give yourself plenty of room for experimenting. You don’t have to use the same colors as in the video. Use your own personal style to decide the colors and exact stems you would like to purchase. Your wreath has to fit your decor.
