“Character Wreaths”

My favorite custom wreaths are “Character” wreaths that display items that your family members have outgrown, but you just can’t seem to let go of.

For example: A ballet wreath for your little girl’s room which proudly displays the worn ballet shoes which she has outgrown, along with a preserved program from her last recital.

How about a “rough & tough” little boys wreath filled with the baseball glove which is worn and tattered, along with that special baseball which all of his teammates have signed.

A fishing wreath like the sample on this page is great for a mountain home. We could make a baking wreath, or a fruit wreath for your kitchen….the possibilities are just endless.

“Collection Wreaths”
“Collection” wreaths are another fun way to personalize your home. I just completed a special order for a customer who has shopped my wreaths for a while, but just couldn’t find the exact one she wanted. In talking to her, I discovered that she collected blue & white china. It filled her kitchen and spilled over into her den to be displayed proudly in her bookcases. I suggested to her that she send me an older cup and saucer in her blue and white along with an old spoon and some tea packets. She also sent samples of fabrics in her room. The result was absolutely charming! I named her wreath:
